In the dynamic realm of cybersecurity, Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) play a crucial role in safeguarding organizations against evolving threats. Among the myriad of solutions at their disposal, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) stands out as a cornerstone in securing digital identities and access management. However, the path to effectively integrating IGA solution into MSSP operations is not without its challenges. This theatre session delves into the fundamental traits of IGA solution that align seamlessly with the needs and capabilities of MSSPs. Through insightful analysis and real-world examples, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the key characteristics that make an IGA solution MSSP-friendly. From scalability and integration to compliance and security, we explore the essential attributes that enable MSSPs to deliver robust identity governance services to their clients efficiently. Join us as we navigate through the intricacies of IGA deployments within the MSSP landscape, uncovering strategies for success, addressing common pain points, and empowering MSSPs to harness the full potential of IGA solutions in their quest to safeguard digital identities and fortify cybersecurity defenses.
Thursday, May 30
10:30 AM – 11:20 AM | Location: Joshua 3
Sanjay Nadimpalli, Founder & CEO
In the IAM community today, there's a host of challenges: overly complicated UIs from vendors, vendor-specific jargon, and the reliance on SMEs for even basic tasks, leading to prohibitively high service costs. This poses a challenge for smaller organizations unable to afford such expenses and obstructs the realization of benefits even with training. Large organizations struggle with lengthy onboarding processes and complex implementations, leaving business lines frustrated with their inability to execute tasks efficiently. By harnessing Generative AI, the requirement to decipher vendor terminology and navigate complex UIs is eliminated, resulting in a standardized interface, enhanced productivity, and substantial deployment and maintenance savings. This engagement model empowers all stakeholders, from deployment personnel to help desk teams, to effectively interact with IGA. The class will feature use case walkthroughs along with a demonstration.

2:00 PM – 2:25 PM | Location: Joshua 3
Brian Iverson, Chief Product Officer
An important axiom of user access administration is: "In the absence of policies, all user access is exceptional." Most organizations make limited use of "birthright" entitlement assignments, leaving the vast majority of user access in their environments exceptional and subject to procedural governance burdens such as access requests requiring approvals and periodic access certification. Policy-driven administration can reduce these burdens significantly while simultaneously improving management of access risks, but only when combined with proper governance over access policies. This session presents practical advice for adopting policy-driven administration with a governance framework that is applicable across industries, and includes insights about how machine learning can be applied most effectively to manage user access risks.
Meet the Speakers
